SynopsisThe Rosebud Theatre is in turmoil. Due to casting difficulties a play that was going to be produced has had to be abandoned. A second play is now in production and once again casting difficulties arise. Charles Parker, the director is at odds with George Price, the producer, as he's re-cast the role of Jodie and given it to his niece, Trina Johnson. Tom Grant a stalwart member and leading man is not happy with Charles' choice. Trina had left the Rosebud Theatre, some eighteen months earlier. Tom confides in Charles that Trina had blackmailed him into having sex with him before she left.. Tempers and emotions run high as the actors try to come to terms with their roles and their personal life. At times it is difficult to distiguish what is life and what is art.
