SynopsisA Fantasy. Three young archaeologists stumble upon the remains of a palace of a lost tribe in Dacia, now known as Romania, and seek to discover the meaning behind the discovery of the chalice of Vardia. The story of Vardia is told by Marlinus, the timeless 'wizard' and the past is brought to life. A colourful and exciting experience for performers and audiences. Re-written in parts in order to make the script suitable for performance by 10 -13 and 14-16 year old casts for audiences aged 9 to ageless! Successfully performed in its original form in Auckland, New Zealand in 1997,1999, 2000, 2009 and 2010.
InformationSuitable for under 16s to perform
CastMixed cast - 43 M and 22 F but many can be played by either F or M and the large cast includes dancers and many minor roles. Doubling of roles is recommended. (minimum 65)
