|Synopsis||After critical acclaim for his trilogy of one-act plays "Family, Friends and other Enemies" under his directorship, Trevor James is resting on his laurels at a secluded hotel in mid-Wales.
He enters the lounge one evening and is befriended by, Monica Forsyth, a forty-something academic. As they exchange pleasantries, he begins to realize that she knows all of his plays, has seen them performed and appears to know more about him than he knows about himself.
She wants the ending of the third play to be changed, as she empathises with the character, Kate who hanged herself. After a bizzare interchange, Trevor tries to convince her it was the only way out for Kate,
The next morning when the Police arrive looking for a Margaret Hopkins, who had discharged herself from a psychiatric unit, the manageress identifies her as Monica. As Trevor is interviewed, he realises his worst nightmare is turning into reality. Where is Monica? ( THIS PLAYS FOLLOWS ON FROM 'Family and Friends'.|
